A good tutorial introduces you to the game. The story's kind of lame and the menus are fairly tedious. 7.0
Graphics
Uninspired terrain modeling allows you to focus on the spectacular effects and ship designs. 8.0

Sound
Somewhat repetitive but excellent radio sounds. Weapon effects could use some help. 7.0
Gameplay
The futuristic atmospheric combat is a neat twist on the genre, but there are periods where the game really drags. 7.5

Lasting Appeal
Skirmish and multiplayer modes leave a lot to be desired. Luckily the campaign is solid. 6.5
